Of all the fights to cry robbery, this wasn't one of them. If Bakhram got it by a round or two, I wouldn't have been surprised. I had Kelly winning by a round, I think. While I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to pay to watch Josh Kelly, he fought a perfect game plan to his strengths.

 

And that's the main point - if a fight goes the way one boxer wants it to go, then more than likely he's the winner. Murtazaliev has only got himself to blame.

Dropped Kelly after the Avanesyan fight then picked him back up as soon as he had a world title shot. Was nowhere to be seen for the last 5 years.

 

It’s hilarious because Hearn ridiculed and belittled Haney after his stellar performance against Norman Jr. Haney was class, scored a KD and cruised it but Hearn and Benn were there ringside calling it boring and a reason why Benn won’t fight him.

We just saw pretty much a carbon copy performance from Kelly (in fact Haney was more aggressive than Kelly was) and yet Hearn is hailing it and labelling Josh a “hero”.

 

Crazy talk from bellew at the end there when asked about a potential Benn/Kelly fight, was pushing the 147 division for Benn and claimed he’d never fought at 154!! when ade prompted him about 147 being hard to make since being at 160 he made some weird case for campaigning at 147 for a world title or 160 seemingly swerving the Kelly fight!
