I think it actually showed what might have been possible if loma had a better reach

 

If you don't think being a two weight lineal champ with wins over Lomachenko and Josh Taylor, aswell as impressive performances over guys like Commey and Barbosa doesn't make you elite then I don't really know what to say to that other than we must have a totally different idea of what elite means in boxing. Is he inconsistent? Yes, but plenty of elite fighters throughout history have been just as or more inconsistent.

What a class performance by Shakur! I know there'll be a million and one excuses and explanations, but that was a schooling for the ages. And still it feels like Shakur didn't really need to go deep in his bag - I can't even see anyone at 135-140 who would make him require that as it is.

 

It would have been a good fight, Loma was skilled can’t deny that
