Shakur Stevenson is the real deal

Hey, man, I always liked your posts. Humor is necessary.

 

The only one that beats him for sure is Loma. I don't think he should rush into a Tank fight either. But everyone is young and developing, anything could happen.

 

Everyone said for a year Stevenson would do exactly this to Valdez.

 

the referee should have stopped Shakur from using is his right glove in front of Valdez face. Shakur used it throughout the fight. The referee just told him " don't do that" throughout the fight. And it wasn't until the 12th round that Shakur was warned. I noticed that when the referee told him not to do it, Valdez had a little more success in getting inside and delivering more punches. But then Shakur got back to it because that was an effective way to keep Valdez at bay. However, I think Valdez was not able to adjust and Shakur is the clear winner and the better boxer.

 

If Crawford can't teach him to throw a hook he'll never find that gear. He's great on the line, and usually wins his engagements, he just can't add power to his shots. Unluckily for him and us, he's small, so he won't be fighting Haney, Garcia, Teofimo. Maybe Tank tho.

It baffles me wtf people are looking at when they asses talent. Shakur going through 135 like it ain’t no thang. Does shakur even get hit clean? Hit and not get hit. People have no idea about distance, range, and timing.

Shakur is going to be hard to beat fighting in America with American officials. They'll give him the Pernell Whitaker treatment. I knew Teo had no chance when Harvey Dock made an appearance as the ref. Teo needed to get in there & rough him up. Rag doll him. No chance of that with Harvey Dock as the ref. Shakur's fights are going to be boring if he only fights under those conditions.

 

Teo got easily outclassed, no need to cope about it
