If the BBC can give us three decent fights a night they could be onto a winner. It doesn't have to be big names, just evenly matched fighters who like to mix it. There could also be room for, say, a fifteen minute round-up of other boxing news.

What bull****. Are you related to him or his friend or something. He was absolutely terrible. Couldn't crack an egg... never had a single KO win, and had very poor punch resistance. And no ability.

He was 0-1-1 in his first two fights. And only had two wins ever over fighters with winning records (who were 1-0 and 3-0)

He fought at Flyweight his entire career, for most of his fights. Might have gone up a few poxy pounds a few times but him losing all the time was nothing to do with a couple of measly pounds, it was cause he was ****. He's one of the worst boxers I've ever seen.

    WTF you talking about?

How can you not respect the footwork, how lightly he glided around that ring, hitting opponents with jabs at will, touching them, explosive with it. There were shades of Ali in the way Uzzy moved. Why can’t that be appreciated?

What could he possibly put on with his stable that he could justify as ppv?

Adam Azim v Dalton Smith is the obvious one, if not that it’s almost certain to be a Azim fight, the only other alternative I can think of is that Shalom has spent so much time around Sky and the BBC that he is under the delusion that Lauren Price could headline a ppv.

8th August is a bit of a daft date. Isn’t Itauma meant to be fighting that night on DAZN as well, and then there’s the Zuffa card in Ireland on Sky. Like the fight, but this will get buried that night.

    It will be Lauren Price.

Great for DAZN ultimate subscribers getting that as one of their 12 ppv

Do you think it will be one with Turki? Hes done one with Turki before. One of the Benn Eubank fights. Theres no way DAZN will do a lauren Price PPV. Sky probably would but never DAZN. Its got to be a Shalom Turki probably with Azim in a world title fight.

I can’t see how he does a ppv by himself be it Azim or Price, if it’s Smith v Azim it will likely be a joined show with Hearn, Shalom was doing the rounds with Talksport and the YouTubers yesterday and in a few was talking up his relationship with Hearn and how they do actually get along.

Whatever happens with Boxxer when it comes to ppv’s on DAZN as weird as this may sound on the surface I don’t think their priority is getting people to buy individual shows, it’s getting people to commit to the ultimate tier for 12 months.
