    Its also worth nothing the Mayweathers had several public fall-outs… AND THEY WERE WINNING during those fall-outs….

    I know its cute and popular to trash both Teofimos right now…

    But honestly, you don’t know the dynamics of their relationship as a father and son or as a coach and athlete… Yes it seems like he could have done a better job in the corner, I won’t deny that…

    My main takeaway from it is in a world that is selfish and places little value on relationship - Teofimo Jr. having his fathers back and refusing to trash him publicly was very refreshing to see….

    Silly question: it's obviously Floyd.

    And people are saying Chico was Floyd's breakout fight, no it wasn't. It was his destruction of 19 total defenses in 2 reigns Genaro Hernandez...................either way the answer is still the same.

    I do. It would be a war because Teo does better against come forward fighters, but If the fight turns into a battle of attrition, I give the edge to DC.

    It wasn't poor technique or bad game plan that lost Teo the fight. Shakur beats every version of Teo. He could have had Cus, Manual, futch in his corner that night and still would have lost.

    The one who knocked out the bigger man 5 times before ultimately stopping him. Shakur's performance was very good but Mayweather's was next level.

    Pbfs demolition of chico was one of the greatest exhibitions of boxing in history. Countering ring generalship accuracy power speed footwork defense timing all top notch. No comparison can be made between what pbf did against chico and what shakur did to teo. Levels!

    Like I said in my OP. It was a breakout for for me in terms of my realization that they put on a damn near perfect performance against their best opponent to date. The way FM and SS completely dominated their opponent was very impressive.

    Stevenson put on a points scoring clinic the other night.

    Floyd battered and stopped a tough, game contemporary P4P guy with surgical precision (if we're considering Corrales his "breakout" fight).

    Very different displays and outcomes.

    The one thing that sticks out in my mind is when Floyd's dad yelled from the 1st row, keep doing what you're doing. He'll be ready to go by the 7th. And if I remember correctly, that's when the 1st kd happened. I was like, Damn, old dude knows his stuff. I may have the round wrong, but pops called it.
