Graham is one of those fighters that feels like he slipped through history.
Elite skills , awkward style , easily one of the best never to win a title.

So what if he'd actually being in the mitx in the early 90 s with Benn, Eubank, Watson etc?

    For me personally it's

    Benn - Graham stop's him.
Eubank -In a couple of fights they get a win apiece.
Watson -Brilliant pairing, I think Watson gets a decision win.

Graham might lose because he was past his prime.
Prime for prime, he'd beat all 3.

Eubank and Benn are possibly the two most overrated British fighters ever, nowadays.

Yep I was thinking of Bomber being in prime in these fights actually.
I think he's beating Benn but Eubank and Watson could definitely pose problems.

90´s Graham would probably lose all 3 but 80´s Herol does a Rod Douglas on Nigel Benn, probably survives a scare before outpointing Eubank and takes a tough but warranted decision over Watson.

Would be great little battles though I always wanted Tony Sibson-Herol Graham.

Knowing Graham he would probably get sparked out by Benn ala Jackson walking into a sucker punch after dominance. Eubank and Watson who knows but bomber never had much luck did he !

Gibson vs Graham would have been a great fight.

    Unfortunately no.
I've been reading Steve Bunces big fat short history of British boxing.
In it he says that if Graham hadn't had a point taken off for throwing McCallum to the floor he'd have won the fight.
    Damn shame.

That's not true. The fight would have been a draw without the point deduction.

The judge who scored that fight for Graham turned in an absolutely terrible scorecard, by the way. He gave McCallum two rounds in the entire contest.

Graham was a mercurial talent who had opportunities but failed to take them. The most obvious case is the Jackson fight where he simply needed to keep at arm’s length till the end of the round and he would have been champion. Instead, he came forward, stayed in range of Jackson and got flattened. It makes me question how he would have dealt with Benn, Eubank and Watson despite his obvious natural ability. Just because he could have beaten all three doesn’t mean he would have.

I think Graham put on a very good showing against Mike but ultimately started to slip and lose rounds as the fight went on. Great effort but even with the extra point I still would've voted for McCallum. (Rewatched the fight not too long ago)

Too much wear and tear from fighting those 3. Graham had to be razor sharp to be at his best and I think that level of competition is just too many rounds.
