These prospects don't pick on someone their own size for quite a while, these days.

Most undercard fights these days seem to fit this description

Sick to death of these Dazn cards, throwing in their 'prospects' with bums is somewhat expected early on, but the fact they choose bums who are also undersized is just a **** take. Then they start saying silly things like 'he's the new Floyd Mayweather'. Adam Smith is a cringe lord, while Barker and Jones send me into snooze.

I was thinking about this just yesterday, glad to see I am not alone.

I swear these type of fights used to be on the earlier parts of the card. And usually the journeymen are either though, have some upsets to their name, or have a decent punch. This dude has nothing.

Honestly, back in the day this kind of dreck wouldn't be shown on USA Tuesday Night Fights or the early ESPN shows. The production values on those telecasts were terrible - but the fights, for the most, were at a higher level than most undercard fights today

Yep, should be on the prelims. Prospects shouldn't this deep on the actual undercard until they are at least fighting for a national title kinda level. Or taking a tough fight early on relatively.

YES! I have been watching a lot of 80s and 90s cards recently, and its noticeable how much more competitive the matchups in the US were, even on lower level cards.

Any ESPN FNF card from any era takes a dump on this one.

They gaslight these young fighters into believing they are fighting respectable competition as well. "He was a tough Argentinian". Really?
