Finally. It took almost four ****ing months to make these two sign the contract.

Here's hoping they finally make it official without any more roadblocks. It's been long overdue and we need to see these two fight while they're still in their primes.

One of the best fights in the sport at the moment. I've always backed Ortiz, but the way his team has been so reluctant to sign the contract makes me think they don't fancy their chances. Definitely something to look forward to if they can get it over the line.

I do wonder why Oscar doesn't want the fight. Like he is afraid another of his marque fighter will lose.

Vergil’s gonna decapitate Boots. Just saying.

Don't see it. Ennis is bigger, stronger, just ad powerful and way more skilled

Ortiz is custom made for Boots.

I'll believe it when I see it. The american privileged divas tend not to get in the ring with each other.

I'll believe this when I see them in a press conference. For Ortiz and Ennis to be once labeled the future of the sport, neither has done much of anything to suggest they are elite. Fail negotiations and wins over favorable opponents doesn't make me feel like even they are confident that they are as elite as hyped to be.

These 2 should have fought each other a few years ago as welterweights and we never got it because both CLAIMED to be looking for fights vs the then champions but neither utilized their mandatories to force the fights....... Right now they are all hype in my opinion until proven otherwise in the ring. I respect both skillset but I'm not expecting much at this point from these 2.

If it comes off it is a great fight. Boots' is a phenom in the early rounds with his combination of power and speed, but I think if Vergil can survive the early onslaught unscathed then he will get to Ennis down the stretch. I really hope this fight happens.

Very good, hopefully it'll be official soon. I see Ennis as the favorite but it's a very interesting fight.
