    Ricky gave Floyd trouble and was able to close the gap so I think he gets closer to Shakur and breaks him down.

    Yeah, Floyd had to fight on the inside. Don't know if Shakur would have as much success as Floyd did on the inside. But, being the ultra biased Merican, I still pick Shakur in a 12-0, 11-1 type master class of whoop ass. LOL

    taylor and cotto at their best had what could beat shakur. the rest would lose. shakur is pretty complete as a boxer, but as a fighter he has some shortcomings that could be exploited.

Shakur has one fight at 140 vs a Teo who should've been 4-3 in his last 7, who has only scored 1 stoppage win and 1 KD at 140, whose weakness against risk averse slick or backfoot negative boxers Has already been thoroughly exposed in his 2 unofficial losses at the weight to Martin and Ortiz both of whom were robbed blind, Hatton was an extremely physically strong career 140 pounder and an absolutely devastating rib breaking body puncher whose left hook to the body is one of the best and most destructive ever and who would target the body relentlessly

    And Shakur has nothing to keep Hatton off of him

    You don't think Hatton's defense would be his undoing against Shakur? Say what you want about SS, but he is very accurate and knows how to keep distance and use his footwork very well. But, you are correct about Hatton. Dude was a steam roller.

    It's not a knock on Shakur he's excellent but he has 1 fight at 140 vs a very favourable stylistic match up who was about the same size and who should be 4-4 in his last 8 and only has 1 stoppage win and 1 KD at 140. Hatton was an extremely physically strong career 140 pounder relentless body puncher whose thumping left hooks downstairs were absolutely brutal. Shakur has more work to do at 140 vs a multitude of styles before I'm picking him against Hatton whose body shots might just be the hardest P4P we've ever seen and, as said, he would target that body relentlessly. Shakur might have great defence but he's not Floyd and he already admit Zepeda hurt him to the body at 135
