Since you asked who our favorite is, I am listing them based on them being my favorite, not skill or career wise. Although I am not sure their spot would change much if based on the latter.

Early Hector Camacho (pre Rosario) was a terrific and entertaining fighter. Had the talent to be an all-time great

Edwin Rosario Remembered for his loss to Chavez and 2nd Ramirez fight (what a fight!) but his devasting kos of Iron-chinned Bramble and Viruet as well as nearly beating peak Camacho and destroying Loreto Garza for the light-welter crown are unforgettable for me.

Victor Callejas (he was very hurtful puncher who was ruined by Fenech in an underrated classic)

Tito is my favourite. Modern day Danny Lopez who gets dropped before taking over for emphatic and thrilling finishes.

I went to BoxRec to get a comprehensive list of Puerto Rican fighters. What I learned is how few of them I have been a fan of. There are many that I was impressed by, whom I admired and who I thought were great fighters. However, there’s only been one that I actively rooted for and that was Edwin Rosario.

 

All mentioned so far would be on my list too. I will add Jose Torres to the equation.

 

So many already mentioned that I would regard as a favorite. Just loved Ortiz, DeJesus, Tito, Espada, Benitez, etc. But one fighter I was always intrigued with that I would have liked to have seen some video on was Pedro Montanez. Finished with a record of 90-9-4 with 51 KOs. He beat world champs Lou Ambers, Jack 'Kid' Berg, Red Cochrane and Frankie Klick. Also beat top contenders Wes Ramey, Aldo Spoldi and Tommy Spiegal. Fought unsuccessfully for the lightweight and welterweight titles, but when the guys you're fighting are named Ambers and Armstrong, it's an uphill battle.
