Anthony Joshua vs prime Ali, Lennox Lewis, Vitali Klitschko, George Foreman, Riddick Bowe

He probably fares badly, but it wouldn't do to underestimate him.

In his prime he was young, viciously powerful, and hungry.

I will pick him over Bowe. Joshua tko 7. Bowe is too hittable and too unproven vs punchers.

I think Vitali decisions him or stops him through accumulation. Vitali UD 12, 8-4 type of fight.

Foreman obviously stops him early. Too powerful, too relentless, and Joshua's defense just isn't going to hold up here. Foreman tko 3.

Lewis is probably 70-30 or 80-20 vs Joshua. But Joshua has a punchers chance. Good handspeed and excellent power combined with Lewis's leaky defense. I would not count Joshua out here but Lewis is the favourite. Lewis tko 6.

Joshua runs into similar problem vs Ali as he did vs Usyk. He can't keep up the work rate. He can't deal with the speed. Sure, Ali isn't a southpaw but he has more speed than anything Joshua has seen. Maybe Joshua can stun him on ocassion and win a few rounds but i am confident Ali is just too quick. Ali UD 12, 9-3 type.

 

I don't see him winning against any of these fighters. And, a few of them would give Joshua a fierce beating.

 

We could change his name to "owen". As in 0 and 5.

Does anyone really think there is improvement with the guy if he is 0-3 and has to win 2 fights against elites? especially factoring in the wear and tear from those opponents? Joshua is just not a walk through minefields type guy.

 

He beats Bowe, 50/50 with Vitali and Foreman, loses to Ali and Lennox.

 

He destroys them all and MarkusFlorez flies into a rage!

 

Vitali didn't fight tall skilled super heavies.
No head movement, hands down style. Bearly any defence.
With Joshua's right hand , speed and inside skill , its a winnable fight.
If aged out , lethargic Lewis on short notice can piece the guy up , AJ can too .
Vitali two best wins -Peter and old sanders.
