Not many, if at all. And, there are almost no eras where his luck would be any better. I had decent hopes for Ajagba in the beginning, and, he seems like a good guy. But, he just isn't a great fighter.
He’s a big puncher so basically anyone but Usyk he has a chance and probably Fury. But Usyk might have ended Fury.
Chisora is 50 years old and shot to bits, Ajagba keeps his distance behind a jab and brutally KOs him. If Ajagba can survive the first 4 rounds against Zhang he has that in the bag Efe can pull a Joyce on Parker. He'd would have a decent shot against Dubois too but he's likely to get KTFO, he's probably too stiff and upright
He already deserved a decision against Bakole who was in the top 10 imo. Other than him, he could beat Chisora, and has the power to take out a guy like Dubois but I certainly wouldn't favour him. Apart from those guys, he's too slow for most of the top 10 and doesn't have the durability to make up for it like Joyce did.
A chance? If Parker and Fury are still top level they are beating Ajagba, Kabayel is beating him, Usky is beating him. Has a chance against,: Wardley, Chisora, Dubois, Hrgy Bear, Zhang, Itauma. A big guy that can hit and take a hit but is robotic can take you pretty far in the heavyweight division.
I think he could beat Chisora.................and I think him and Wardley are 50/50 (I see nothing in Wardley, I don't care that he beat Parker).
A chance - as in, including a punchers chance? Or as in a decent chance of being competitive and potentially winning? Punchers chance - Dubois, Chisora. Cards chance - Chisora, Zhang (if assuming it sees final bell), possibly Hrgovic (but probably not). There are wildcards in there, though: We don't know what Fury has left. We don't know what Chisora has left (though we do know he's declined bigtime). We don't know if Itauma has a chin or a gas tank. At the end of the day, the fact a fighter so limited has a chance against any of the top ten tells you how thin the division is right now.
Hrgovic, Zhang, and Chisora are the only ones he has a *chance* against in that bunch. But I would only make him a slight favourite against Chisora, and a 60/40 underdog against the other 2.
I like Ajagba - interesting proposition. I would like to see him fight the winner of Wilder vs Chisora. Or possibly against Itauma, assuming he gets through Franklin as he should.
