Berlanga by fluke freak wild swinging when hurt? I dont know. Great matchup though. Would enjoy it quite a bit. Of course everyone is interested in the best fighting the best, but a lot of times A, or even B grade fighters, if matched evenly, it is ridiculously fun. Should have a lot more borderline contender/gatekeeper matches tbh. The matches that decide whos the top 5~15. We get too many top 3 vs top 20 matchups

I wouldn’t mind this fight, neither are very good but can slug it out if needed. Munguia probably wins but I would love to see a hard fought double knockout so we don’t have to hear about these guys for awhile.

 

Hes 28 and just got his chin cracked, its all downhill from here. His ability to take a punch will probably be fine if he takes some time off to recover, but physically he will be slowing down in a couple of years. And I would be shocked if he does not move up in weight soon, which would help with him taking punches, but take away his size advantage.

And he needs to stay more active, at least during some years.

 

Me too! That Puerto Rico vs Mexico is always fun and usually brings out the best in those fighters. I think that’s the fight that’s the most interesting for them.
