Lennox Lewis vs Usyk

I messed up, been drinking.

 

Really difficult one to call here.

Right now based on Usyk's career to date, I would favour Usyk via UD. Too quick, too slick and too tough.

Lewis would be competitive but would ultimately be out hustled. If anyone remembers the second Holyfield fight, where Holyfield won 3-4 rounds, I see that type of fight with Usyk instead winning 8-9 rounds.

 

Usyk would look like Hasim Rahman in there.

 

Lewis vs Holyfield 1 was a clear cut win for Lewis. I think Holyfield only won 1 or 2 rounds max, but corrupt judges called it a draw.

Lewis vs Holyfield 2 was a far closer fight. Holyfield won 4 rounds clearly, maybe 5. However, as a payback for the first fight the judges gave Lewis a wide UD. In truth it was a fairly narrow and unconvincing UD for Lewis.

Lewis vs Holyfield 2 showed the blueprint for how a smaller man can give Lewis a nightmare.

 

Did Lennox ever fight a Southpaw? Usyk might be too hard for him to hit consistently.

 

Usyk would be a stylistic nightmare for Lennox. Mavrović on steroids. I actually think he may have won.

 

Nah, Holyfield won 4 rounds, 5 tops. It was closer, but Lewis still beat him.

 

So you thought an old Holyfield beat Lewis but you pick Lewis to beat Usyk ? It makes no sense
