Boots Ennis would KO Ortiz and clear 154

Boots could win on points but wouldn't K.O Ortiz. I actually think the opposite though...

 

Boots isn't going to KO Ortiz. That would suggest that he chose to exchange with Ortiz and I don't trust that Ennis is defensively savvy enough to execute that type of plan. See him struggle vs lesser talent. I do feel his athleticism can consistently put him in position to win on points more times than not.

I actually have Ortiz winning this fight, but I wouldn't be shocked either way. Both fighters have a few unanswered questions that they present

 

I am quite high on Boots and think he's all wrong for Vergil, stylistically. I think Vergil's team and GB know that, too, which is why they've been dragging their feet in negotiations. I think Xander probably has the best chance of beating Boots at 154, but even then idk.

 

Boots pretty much lost to Karen his defense is pretty leaky. If anyone is getting KO'd in this fight it's Ennis.
Ortiz is the bigger puncher and Ennis will not have his usual massive size advantage over him.

 

Ennis is wasting his prime years. This guy should be top 3 p4p right now.

 

I’m a big Ortiz fan and I got a lot of flack for saying this on a Facebook forum, but I think Boots will be a nightmare for Ortiz. Not sure why exactly, just a feeling I’ve got. I can see Ortiz having to eat a lot of uppercuts in that fight.

 

I will cry if this is a repeat of Crawford vs Spence

 

Boots gonna become undisputed at 154 , Virgil is the next best guy obviously

 

Mmmmmm probably not. This version of Virgil is better than the version of Spence Crawford fought

 

154 is honestly the best weight class in boxing right now and has a natural superheavyweight. I don't think Ennis is clearing anything.
