Callum Smith vs David Morrell

Cause Smith is the better, more proven fighter. And I fully expect a Smith win.

Cubans pretty much always lose in their biggest fights. And Morrell has failed miserably in his two biggest. Khataev was a huge robbery, Khataev won that fight hands down easily.

Buatsi isn’t trash IMO. It was a good win.

Obviously there is a gap between the ‘very good’ and the ‘elite’.

 

Buatsi needed a robbery over zach parker who is trash, so what do you think that makes Buatsi? I swear people are blind or something, and ignore what happens in the ring. Zach parker was getting cooked by john ryder before he quit. Other than HW, These UK guys in general are domestic level fighters.

 

I don't know why people are so sure on a Morrell win, even saying that he should stop Smith. In my mind this is a very even fight, and personally I would back Smith. Morrell was very fortuitous to get the nod over both Hod Rod and Khataev, whilst Smith is a pretty durable unit and can crack himself. If Smith does lose I'm sure it will by decision.

David Morell has been calling out Ben Whittaker to replace Smith. That would be really interesting to see.

 

Real shame. Good fight even if I think Smith is a bit long in the tooth and would've been outboxed by Morrell. Whittaker gets the snot beaten out of him by Morrell. I'd pay decent money to watch that, but Shalom knows he can cash out Whittaker for a bigger fight down the line I suspect.

 

Man beterbiev beat him up bad, i was surprised with his good performance vs buatsi. it just goes to show the gap between someone like joshua buatsi and a wrecking machine like artur beterbiev
