Majority wpuld probably say the happiest in their time of the little life or whe Mn they first started watching it. For me if I had to choose one decade I'd probably say 2000-2010. I didn't see enough of the 90's but that was cool where you had Tyson, Holyfield going off and De Le Hoya turning pro in 92 and Floyd in 96. Roy Jones J r as well. Naseem also going haywire and Kostya Tszyu. I suppose I'm naming two decades now. But in 2000 to 2010 I enjoyed the likes of Kostya still fighting as well as Tyson. Lewis fighting well along with Judah, Cotto, Moseley, De La Hoya, Floyd, Martinez just heaps of names. Mundine and Green did well for Australia and Hatton emerged. Pacquaio truly emerged from 2000 to 2010. Trinidad another huge name and guys like Vargas, Mayorga, Wright, Forrest Gatti, Sharmba Mitchell. Barrera vsMorales and back to the 90's we had Pernell Whitaker and George Foreman. JLC there were just so many names. 1990 to 2010 for me was the pinnacle of boxing. Many more names. Let's not forget Joe Calzaghe, Antonio Tarver, Chad Dawson, Casamayor, Freitas, Bernard Hopkins, Gatti vs Ward, Jmm, Benn and Eubank from England and Australia had guys like Katsidis, Darchiniyan, Phenomenal talent. Ike Quartey of Ghana. Ben Tachi. Jorge Arce. 100 more guys I could mention. Michael Moorer was another.
1980s for me,not born for the 60s and too young to remember much from the 70s but the 80s without a doubt was the decade that got me hooked on Boxing. 90s was also a good decade imo but there is just something nostalgic about the 80s,music clothes cars sports etc that decade seemed to have it all with a lot less hassle going on for everybody .

I was born in the early 1960s and have always considered the 1970s as boxing's greatest. We had the first live satellite broadcasts and colour TVs, huge boxing events, and Don King's hair.
I wasn’t around but agree on 70s. Duran Ali Frazier Monzon Foreman Arguello Marcel De Jesus Holmes Benitez Cervantes Palomino Napoles Gomez Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, Sanchez , all active and coming in to their primes.
The 1970s were the best heavyweight years. Special mention to the 1980s for providing us with the 4 kings and their wars.
We had a weekly or so TV show in Australia when I was a kid called TV Ringside and it captivated me and made me a lifetime lover of the sport. No PPV or subscription, just loads of ads.
