Richardson Hitchins pulls out of fight against Oscar Duarte

All these americans down there are just epic weight bullies. they move up 2 divisions and still the bigger man in the ring.

 

Sounded like he didn't fancy the smoke.

 

Duarte was in great physical condition too. He was ready to bring the pain.

There's a norovirus spike in NYC. I think it's just bad luck.

 

Not fair to Duarte or to the people who bought the PPV. They should have at least had a short notice replacement come in - there are lots of boxers around that weight who could have come in.

Hitchens was apparently having trouble making weight.

The fight card is in Las Vegas, not New York.

 

Is that even possible given the weigh in already happened?Duarte would have already hydrated past the limit, and any new fight would require they both weigh in again to be officially sanctioned

 

Can't happen. Dangerous for either fighter. Not knowing or studying about the other opponent.
