This scorecard is much more realistic than the official scorecards:

114-113 Hiraoka was my score. A narrow victory for Russell isn't something ridiculous, but the judges' cards were bad. Hiraoka made a lot of mistakes in the fight, so he kind of let this fight slip away.

I thought Hiraoka clearly won, as my 116-111 scorecard last night reflected. Maybe you could give Russell an extra round or two if you were being generous - but I think even a draw is likely too generous.

The judges scorecards - and those of the shill commentators - were from some alternate reality that doesn't remotely reflect the fight I watched!!!

    Hiraoka 115-112

Which I feel is generous to Russell.

    115-113 Hiraoka
However, I was disappointed with how scared and uncomfortable Hiraoka looked in rounds 1-5. Hiraoka found his footing the rest of the fight by coming forward and sitting on his shots. Russell did showcase a great chin, though.
    Scorecard:

    1. 10-9 Russell

    2. 10-10 draw

    3. 10-9 Russell

    4.10-9 Hiraoka

    5.10-9 Russell

    6.10-9 Hiraoka

    7.10-9 Hiraoka

    8.10-9 Hiraoka

    9.10-9 Hiraoka

    10.10-8 Russell

    11. 10-9 Hiraoka

    12.10-9 Hiraoka

I didn't do the scorecard but I saw a close fight where it seemed like Russell might have a small margin, certainly not as much as the judges' scorecards indicated. When I see him again I'll do the scorecard, I want to see if my impression is confirmed or not.

Only in the US can three American judges score a championship fight between an American and a foreign fighter, obviously the scoring will be biased
(that isn't really true as it does happen from time to time in other countries as well but you get my point)

    Havent seen the fight

Did watch the highlights and the hand raised. Andy didn't behave like he felt he was robbed. Russell seemed to celebrate when the fight was over at the final bell and Andy seemed to just walk to his corner. I know this is meaningless body language, did Andy raise a fuss about being screwed by the judges in the post fight interviews or press conferences?

I had it 3-3 and andy took control of the fight winning 4 of the last 6 including the championship rounds.
