Deary me fury was rubbish what a state he came in totally out of shape , supposed to be a full time athlete that so called nutritionist genius who sounds plain simple the guy whos a mate of Dominic ingle , what was he feeding him Chicago town pizza it was a right snooze as fury never left it all in ring I thought he was fighting man , didnt want to roll the die he wanted to play it safe and moan about robbery
Furys a blob .. it's not exactly breaking news.. But what did Joshua's muscles do for him versus Usyk then? Zilch.
It was a great match that I've one back and rewatched twice more, I have no idea what the **** you're talking about.
Some people just don't appreciate it when two great fighters share the ring. They'd rather watch hype jobs beat up taxi drivers.
I get what you're saying. Fury's team is insanely bad and he's got by on his ability alone, basically. It's frustrating to watch, really. Also, coming to box again and get the same result was foolish, but Golovkin did the same versus Canelo and did that twice. We can understand Fury thought he'd get closer if he didn't get hurt this time, but how's he going to do that coming in even fatter. And really he had to try to brawl more probably.
I mean he wasn't going to outbox Usyk the way he could other fighters. I think trying to bully him would have been the best approach and that's what he wanted to do, but Usyk trained for that and handled it.
Fury wasn’t rubbish. He fought damn good. I’d favor him there over Dubois, Wardley, etc. anyone other than Usyk would have lost that night.
Fury indeed came from a nearly loss against ngannou when he fought usyk 1 , he was obviously not even close to his prime anymore. Usyk at that time had just witherapoon , chisora , aj and dubois on his counter at heavy and should never ever get an undisputed shot with sich a legacy . Fury was just lured by the money that was thrown on the table from the ukrainian side . It was what it was
Joshua at least did much better in his rematch than his first attempt. Heck, Joshua in many ways did better in his rematch than Fury did in his. Fury's first attempt was the closest anyone got at heavy, at least with legal blows... But second time around? He didn't do anything better, and Usyk had his number - he needed to be different and significantly better to stand any chance at all.
AJ had one good round and lost the rest in the second fight. I wouldn't necessarily call that being "much better" rather than "improved". Oddly enough the second fight with Fury felt closer in terms of activity from them both. Clear victory for Usyk, but it wasn't by much per round imo.
Fury wasn't in poor shape, he just looked poor because he overtrained, didn't shave and dropped some muscle for stamina which made him look soft. Both came with better defence and the fight was about edging rounds which both did with Usyk edging out the ends rounds, pretty much like the first fight just without the electric.
Fury was in poor shape. He looked awful. And he weighed the heaviest of his entire career. He didn't overtrain. He had zero muscle tone at all. Buster Mathis never looked so soft. He was 20 pounds heavier than their first meeting. Muscle weighs more than fat. And he was fat. It was shocking how out of condition he looked, actually. And that's saying something, for him.
