No chance he fights Canelo. Would be a 1st round known out. For Floyd. Joking. Floyd wouldn't last a round. 2 if Canelos kind.

 

Al Haymon has a better chance of being a billionaire than Floyd does right now.

 

It'd be sad if he goes on a 'get your revenge on Floyd' greatest hits tour and all the names he beat back in his prime, avenge their losses to him.

 

He will retire after the first L because the 0 is such a large part of his allure.

 

That could happen, or he may go the RJJ route and figure that since he has a legit loss on his record, he might as well get reckless with taking more fights, the invincibility is gone.

I think it will really depend on how bad the money situation is. The lawsuit he filed made it seem like he's lost account of the majority of the money he supposedly earned over his career.

 

he DOES have two legitimate big money winnable fights. Pac and ODLH. Make each of those a trilogy and that’s probably all he’s got left.

 

Oscar can barely exercise he can't fight.

 

Doesn’t matter. Name is still there. Plus I don’t any of them would insist on any sort of PED testing right now, as all three need TRT and HGH to be able to get into fighting shape and make it through a camp without too many injuries.

 

It does matter. Oscar can't punch. At all. He hasn't fought in 18 years. No chance. You could beat Oscar more than likely.

 

The ironic thing is, it's probably better for Floyd's pockets if he loses to Manny to set up the 1-1 trilogy fight.

If Manny loses in another boring, overhyped fight, I can't imagine anyone will get interested in a 3rd fight with Floyd holding a 2-0 edge.

There's no easy way out. There's no short cut home.

 

For decades that's what they were, not just what they did. They didn't just box, they were boxers. I guess some fighters ask themselves, if I'm not a boxer, then what am I. Other just live to fight.

 

by the time they get to the highest levels in boxing...it has become their identity. they don't know how to not be boxing. the money and the adulation etc.
also a "money ain't for nothin and the chicks for free."

 

Floyd is the type who doesn't know how much is going out of his bank till one his accountants calls up to tell him he's going in arrears and is broke.

Doesn't take long to waste $100m if you have horrible spending habits and run a loose ship.
