A Zuffa boxing hypothetical takeover would likely mean just the "Zuffa" belt and the Ring Magazine belt, and the sanctioning bodies would no longer exist. That sounds less complicated, but it also means boxing will become this corporate, bland machine in which every fighter is a pawn within a corporation more so than an individual character wearing nothing but "Zuffa" shite. We'd also have to pretend that super-casual dickhead Dana White with his little meatball head and smug smile owns boxing, when he's just a puppet for that tosspot ''Turkey Shake'' and the higher-ups. I'm sticking with slimy scumbags like Mauricio Sulaiman and shady geezers who actually love boxing like Hearn Warren De La Hoya and the like, personally. Also, "Zuffa" sounds like an expensive fleshlight.
I suppose that is the crux of it; competition is great, but Zuffa's ultimate goal is to wipe out the competition and monopolise the sport akin to their dominance in MMA. This will lead to fighters being paid considerably less and having much less control over their careers, neither of which are good things.
