If Garcia is well trained and boxes very aggressively I honestly believe he takes this. Even at lower weights Benn has never shown the power he would need to deter Garcia. The entirety of his power punching image is smoke and mirrors from Matchroom. Ryan also matches and exceeds him in speed, too, so no advantage here for him like he had against mummified Eubank. Ryan did look bad against Rolly but after seeing his performance against Barrios I am inclined to think he had a legitimate off night. I think Benn would look decent in the beginning with his movement but would simply be caught and overwhelmed as the bout went on.

I see Benn lunging in over-aggressive and getting caught with a sharp Ryan left hook or right hand and being stopped in the mid-rounds

Conor Benn hasn’t ever shown any evidence to suggest he’s on the level of someone like Ryan Garcia who was a decorated amateur.

Always depends on which Garcia shows up. I'm not inclined to say Garcia had a "off" night against Rolly.

Rolly had a solid game plan of straight body jabs and once the knockdown happened Garcia resigned himself to the loss.

Benn is crude but if he catches Garcia off balance and gets a knockdown I'd be interested to see how Garcia responds.

Benn can’t make 147 safely now and even if he could, Garcia is a level above

Hard to say because Benn's best fight was at MW, and Garcia is a WW.

I would actually favor Benn who I can't stand because Garcia has his chin way up in the air and I could see Benn reaching it.

Agreed Rolly had a good plan I reckon guys with a bit of power bother Garcia so I wouldn't count Benn out I still favor Garcia 60/40

Without their performance enhancers, Garcia is a B-grade, and Benn is a C-grade. Someone has already made the point about weight: Benn can't make 147. If it were around 154, I would still pick Garcia to knock him out. Benn has beaten absolutely nobody aside from a physically drained Eubank; he has looked very average against very limited opposition on multiple occasions. They're two of the most unlikeable men in the sport. It'd be a shame to see either of them get big money for a fight like this, but that's the circus the sport has become. There are at least half a dozen names at 154 who would bury the pair of them.
