Good to see through late 2025 into 2026 has been more Aussie boxing shows by local promoters gaining network broadcast slots. This content is protected
I really think its about time they stepped him up to any body not ranked in the 1000s. Its not that hard to look good when you are fighting the type of opponents he has been matched with. I know he has only had six fights but i will reserve my judgement until he fights anybody ranked in the top 50 if that ever happens. I think he lacks genuine power but i have been wrong plenty of times before.
Fair enough. I didn't know he's fought guys seriously all ranked in the 1000's? I think he's had a good amateur career and I do think he's got skills. It is only early on he'll face better opp as he fights more.
The kid has a big future IMO. No idea how much longer he will continue to make 168, though he does it fairly easily at this point. This content is protected
A week out from his debut for Zuffa and it seems that in the interviews I've seen with Jai, he still doesn't know if his IBF title is on the line. Seems like abit of **** show and maybe Tasman have poorly managed this time.
Not a chance. It’s the IBF who aren’t coming to the party. It’s on them. But you can’t eat belts and Jai’s purse means far more to his family than an alphabet trinket. Besides, he’s got the one belt that matters.

Then difficult to see how he can become undisputed if the other organisations don't wish to work with Zuffa. All along Jai has been saying he's all about legacy, becoming undisputed and it's not the money. But surely Jai's manager must have known that this always going to be possibility with the IBF.
