I think it was a combination of the eye and the fact he was getting busted up.

Incredible effort from Nunez, though I actually thought Navarrete started holding back towards the end. Glad it got stopped, that last round was tense for the wrong reasons

I mean the man was fighting blind, with two rounds to go, busted up HARD, leaking like crazy from his eye, arguably had lost nearly every single round. It's not a 'go out on your shield it's the final round' kind of stoppage. It's a legitimate concerns for permanent damage stoppage. Dunno how you'd literally ever think it was bull****.

If Margarito can fight 11 rounds with his orbital bone sticking out, Nunez could've fought two more with a cut.

Respectfully with what we currently know about the damaging effects of brain injuries and the multiple deaths a year in our sport I’m fine with it being stopped.

Nunez should take pride in the fact he never gave up a true Mexican warrior.

But health is wealth and I hope he’s ok and gets checked out thoroughly.

I'm watching it in Spanish and I saw it even mentioned it when I saw him hurt

Yall would like the Spanish had almost all the fights scored like on here

**** I love taking a break from this forum, cause I know I'm always going to come back to CST80 being completely delusional and in outright denial on a fighter he's picked losing hahahaha. God bless. Never change mate.

Because I've seen fighters with far worse cutts be allowed to continue

No denial whatsoever. Let the man finish the ****ing fight! Two rounds left, anything could've happened. Nunez has stopped opponents late.
