Match between two great champions, I say Leonard on points. Sugar Ray was more comfortable at welterweight and his fast, powerful and precise two-handed combinations I think would have allowed him to win more rounds than the defensive art and precise shots of Mayweather. Maybe a good number of punches thrown by Leonard would have landed only partially but his greater activity would have convinced the judges. I think Floyd would have had a better chance at lightweight with Duran than at welterweight with Leonard.

Ray Leonard would KO floyd. The speed and impact of his shots would stun the **** outta floyd. Not to mention Ray is more skilled offensively.

 

It would look similar to the fight Ray had with Floyd Sr.

Leonard was still green as a pro. Mayweather Sr. had great speed but Ray was able to turn it up whenever he wanted.
