Rocky Marciano -Relentless pressure , granite will, non stop attrition? Or Jersey Joe Walcott -slick movement, rhythm changes, counter right hand ?
He could take both in the same afternoon but I think Walcott has a few wrinkles that might delay the inevitable. Marciano would immediately put his head into the noose.
I think Walcott could give Frazier fits early on using multiple angles and effective counter punching. But like Marciano in 1952 "Smokin Joe" eventually lands a crusher that ends it in the championship rounds. Regarding Marciano against Frazier, it would be a hell of a war but Frazier's size advantage, relentless work rate, and Rocky's vulnerability to cuts would give Joe the edge. TKO for Frazier in 10-12 rounds.
Marciano definitely. Frazier could grind down Walcott but Rocky would be like he's looking in the mirror in a sense. As a fighter, toughness, will to win etc.
Yea I think Frazier's accuracy and quicker hands could cut Rocky up. Marciano had certain moves that he used that that seemed to work.
Walcott cause he would be boxing trying to survive. Marciano only knows how to come forward and he d be walking into a meat grinder.
Marciano as a superior swarmer with two fisted ko power would stop Frazier who only had a good left hook. Frazier would wear down Walcott and stop him late.
