If this farce had to happen, it should have been a non-title fight. But Usyk PUSHED for it to be a defence of his WBC title.

Usyk's insistence has created the situation where a 1-0 boxer is fighting for the WBC world heavyweight title and the joke is, you are arguing in support of it - LOL!

But WHY. If this Dutch guy did manage to beat the best, wouldn't he be the best, and shouldn't he be recognized as such?

A 1-0 boxer has no right to be fighting for the WBC world heavyweight title.

If you think he does, you are just taking the pi55.

Of course you are right but its pure theory . Verhouven has zero chances to win this and is set up to loose . He will get some money for this and his name is known but the key point is usyk will tell the world he succesfully defended the wbc belt

    Who is backing Verhoeven here?

I dont mean who is picking him but what type of agent or managemetn team does he have?
Because he was AJ s feb tune up before Fury had the plan went off and now he gets this.

Rico obviously has some strong people behind him.

Imagine this, Let's say that the improbable happens and Verhoven wins due to a cut caused by a punch, or an injury during the fight.

Then the rematch happens in early 2027, Usyk wins that and we have a trilogy which happens at the end of 27 or begining of 28.

Is the Ring title on the line as well or just the WBC title?

I think usyk simply searched a guy who has zero chances to win and found rico . Even wilder - so it seems - was too much risk .

Ricos job is to loose with 100% quarantee

    Nah.

He could have found lierally a dozen guys before him.

Verhoeven had a deal in place...but with whom? How??Why?I'd check his emails.

It's a crap fight, we know this but why do you continue to over react and chat bollocks?

Over reacting to this terrible fight takes some doing but your theories are doing a great job

For the third time despite me showing you proof, Wilder and his team walked away from the Uysk fight

This is such a weird fight. Is this like a favor someone owed Rico? I don't get it. I would have understood some influencer boxer, but Rico? He's a great kickboxer but he's not well known. Kickboxing in general isn't.

Do you have an idea why wilder should have walked away from the best paid and most prominent fight of his career , especially when in hid current state he has no chance to get a high valued fight ? Common sense says its odd and maybe usyk demanded something non acceptable ?

Why don't you watch the video where He explains it rather that make daft assumptions?

Common sense says you would have done that
