I would definitely say Arguello-Pryor 1, what more could Arguello do to win that night????

Hearns v Leonard was a classic case of this, as was Hearns v Barkley I.

some good choices, but I assume you meant Louis v Walcott II? As the first one was a highly disputed SD to Louis.

    Ruben Olivares KOby13 Alexis Arguello.
Past his peak Olivares gives future hall of famer Arguello a boxing lesson in one of Arguello's toughest fights.

If the Chavez-Taylor stoppage can be justified, then that fight must be a near-perfect example, i had it almost a shut-out until the last round.

Jim McDonnell against Azumah Nelson, comes to mind.

Not his best performance, but The Black Cloud was doing well before Tyson turned it on and got him out of there.

I think you have to factor in the reality that EVERY OTHER 140 pound fighter who climber in the ring with Arguello got absolutely blasted.

In the first fight with Pryor, Alexis put on an amazing exhibition of skill, heart, and determination, but still got beat.
