I’d never seen this one before but just watched the fight, hell of a knockout. I guess many of you will have seen it but if you haven’t it’s worth a watch

One of my favorite knockouts by Jackson.

One of many Jackson's most famous knockouts. Norris had a good first round and looked like he could have outboxed Jackson to a distance but it was only a matter of time until Jackson found Norris' chin which was always his weakness. Part of me would have liked to have seen a rematch just to see how much Norris could have adjusted but most likely end with the same results but in a later round.

Something McCallum commented on regarding facing Jackson and the reason that Julian would KO Terry every time out is the speed of his delivery in punching. Not the combo speed necessarily but that first punch gets to the mark so quickly that it just lights up guys who never see it. Mike said that once he got hit by Julian in the 1st round of their fight he knew he couldn't see every punch coming and had to finish him then and there. It's part of the stunningness of JJ's KO's.

It was a heck of a KO. Norris' weak chin reputation originated from there, but in fairness, that punch would have probably leveled anybody.
I remember back in the early 90s when Norris' was in his prime, talking about that rematch with friends and they thought Terry would have beaten him no problem, but I wasn't so sure. A rematch would have certainly been interesting as both those guys could be somewhat vulnerable.
