Thurman couldn't beat a certified HOF'er so he wouldn't be able to beat Fundora?........ Is that how it works now?.....lol

First the fighters are NOTHING alike.....5'5 vs 6'5.......speed brawler vs punching boxer.......short vs tall..........youth vs age.........midget vs giant.....

Not to mention.......they aren't close to the same height........lol.

You aren't going to prepare the same for these 2 the same way. Won't use the same sparring partners....

Thurman has had 2 fights since losing to pacquiao in 2019. 5.5 years ago.

His last fight is a year ago.

How does he get that fight? Is he a mandatory? If so, why?

If not, why doesn't fundora have to defend his belt?

And I actually quite like fundora. But this seems wrong...

Some things never come to pass...

...and this will be one of them! Injury or the like, can't see Thurman actually getting in the ring with Fundora

Yeah, but Fundora dominated every minute until he got caught. Props to Mendoza for staying calm under fire, but he was way behind on the scorecards when he dropped the bomb. Like I said before, the Mendoza loss may be the best thing that could have happened to Fundora. He is now using his reach and working his jab from the outside. I never understood why a guy with such a big reach advantage over his opponents, would fight on the inside. I favor Fundora in this one. Thurman too inactive, taking on a freak of nature in a new division.
