Usyk is the most skilled heavyweight of all time with atg stamina and workrate. He'd outbox Foreman and also make him gas, and Foreman was susceptible to being KO'd when he was gassed. Usyk won't let up the pressure. He might be able to knock Foreman out in much easier fashion than Ali did

Usyk might knock the 70s Foreman out but I don't think he'd manage that with Old Man Foreman.

Calling Usyk the most skilled heavyweight of all time is really far fetched .

offensively, he is nowhere near the most skilled. He isn’t anywhere near the offensive fore Louis, Tyson, Liston, Lewis, Foreman as well as Ali was.

Defensively, he is an excellent heavyweight and surely among the very best. He has shown excellent defensive skills vs super heavyweight.

Even then, we have never seen him against all time great body punchers like Frazier, Norton and Cooney. We have never seen him take on genuinely fast opponents apart from Hunter, who was good but not outstanding.

We have never seen how his defence would hold up vs a powerful two handed hitter with an elite chin like Foreman or Tyson.

We have seen that he can deter fighters with average chins from attacking consistently - guys like Joshua and Dubois have average chins and as such, they are only able to attack him in spurts.

Seriously, the guy is a great fighter. I rank him in the bottom half of the top 10 heavyweights of all time. But stating he is the mort skilled heavyweight ever is going over the top.

And no, he isn’t stopping any version of Foreman. He can’t rope a dope. Only Ali could absorb that kind of body beating. Anyone else would have been stopped if they tried it.

this is what you call offensive skill. Ali’s combination punching is far ahead of Usyk. And so is Louis’s and Tysons for that matter, amongst others.

I'm not saying Usyk is the most skilled HW of all-time. I think it's Wlad, but you can think of that as you will.

I do think Usyk could stop George though. I think he could Lyle him without being knocked down / out. Usyk doesn't have to rope-a-dope him to do it either. I just think he could counter him just like he has done with everyone else. Foreman has poor punching technique and isn't very fast. Combine that with he is much smaller than AJ, Fury & Dubois and Usyk's punches will get to the target quicker.

Yes, old George could definitely go the distance with Usyk.

Because obviously the only way to beat 70s Foreman is to rope a dope.............

To answer the main question he stops 70s Foreman who didn't have the best cardio and a cardio machine like Usyk who is constantly forcing his opponent to work and react to him is awful for someone like Foreman. Probably doesn't stop 90s Foreman who was tougher, had better defense and could pace himself better but wins a wide decision.
