For clarification : you are talking mike tyson not tyson fury , fight ?

Imho the 86-88 version of mike beats evander but it would be a hell of a fight .

I think the very best Holyfield beats the very best Tyson 9 times out of 10. And he beats him BADLY the 10th time. Some fighters are all wrong for others and Evander is that guy.

Evander is just too tough mentally and physically all the skills.. battle tested and enough power to deter Mike and lets be honest . Tyson was a good in strak post Douglas and had beaten the likes of Ruddock and Bruno.... He was still a top fighter. Evander simply had too much.

Holyfield is underrated. Guy has one of the best resumes in boxing.

he was fearless and didn’t let Mike bully him, he pressed forward. Kinda how beat most power punchers but actually pulling it off takes the skill

It would be much more competitive for Tyson. I might lean towards him in fact.
The slow 30 yr old Tyson was further from his prime than Evander despite Holyfield being older.
Tyson had certainly lost a lot of what made him great when he was young, fighting from a low crouch, speed, blazing combinations, none of that was there when he fought Holyfield.

Holyfield has him over a barrel in the mental aspect of course.

Tyson of Spinks fight would KO Holyfield in three rounds. Holyfield would win all verions of Tyson post 1989.

Swarmers are at their best young; Mike would have a shot at a decision,if Evander let's him hear the final bell...

Holyfield had been through wars in the ring, if anything he was more shop worn than Tyson. The real life results wouldn't change in any fantasy fight.
