Barkley roughs him up for a close decision win.

Jermall charlo is a very good fighter but has never been tested at the level that Barkley has. On the flip side, Barkley was sometimes badly beaten by the better fighters that he WAS tested against. Still he’d be a handful for a lot of middleweights. I’m thinking this one potentially goes to the cards in a close fight

I’m not even sure how good Jermall really is considering he fights with the frequency of a Halley’s Comet visit. Austin Trout is probably his best win still in a 17+ year career. He really has wasted his career with his inactivity.

Barkley was limited in some ways (skills, natural talent) but gifted in others (the warrior mentality, size, underrated thudding power, workrate ). I think Charlo’s skills (particularly his jab) are better but I don’t know if that can offset Iran’s attributes especially if Barkley makes it a physical, mauling contest.

I’ll go with Barkley by decision.
