Trevor Berbick (Holmes fight) vs Derek Chisora (Vitali fight)

Berbick. Does everything better .similar fighters stile wise. Berbick fought and beat better fighters. Trev was a nutter.

 

I don’t know about Chisora from the Vitali fight, but Chisora from the Usyk fight would shatter Berbick’s jaw with an uppercut.

Berbick had a passive defence, relying on the blocks and it would be his undoing against a puncher like Chisora would devastate him with the uppercut on the inside.

 

I don't think Chisora hits as hard as you think.

 

He doesn’t.

 

Holmes was at his absolute peak vs Berbick and whilst Holmes won most of the rounds Berbick still made him work for the win.

Chisora fought a 40+ year old Vitali who badly injured his shoulder in the fight and then proceeded to fight alot of the fight using 1 arm from memory.

I'm much more impressed with Berbick being the first challenger to go the distance with Holmes in a world title fight. Especially since this was Holmes at his absolute peak.

I also think Berbick had better stand out wins overall against the undefeated Greg Page & Pinklon Thomas. Not to mention the upset win over John Tate aswell.

For me Berbick would beat Chisora on points.
