Golota vs Byrd was a well-deserved draw in my opinion, so many rounds which were hard to score, and it was an entertaining fight, I'm happy with the draw.
Golota vs Ruiz, I think Golota deserved the decisions based on him scoring 2 knockdowns and the point that Ruiz lost for a penalty, BUT and it's been a long time since I watched it, Ruiz in the second half was fighting like a man who wants to win while Golota was simply fighting not to lose. Sort of a De La Hoya vs Trinidad scenario.

    My scores were:
    Golota 113-112 Ruiz
    Golota 114-114 Byrd.

So I think Byrd fight was good result in excellent fight. Ruiz fight was ugly and I thought Golota edged it

    Byrd: 115:113 Golota
    Ruiz: 113:112 Golota

Very close fights and very hard to score. Very far from robberies. Could have gone either way.

I saw that Golota should have been the unified heavyweight champion of the world

On paper Golota came up short in every important fight of his career, but perhaps with some different officiating, the picture could have been different.
