I can see why you have Niccolino Locche as your avatar, Yorbs. Sounds like you'd mirror his approach and balls to the wall attacking style
I don’t any part of any of them. And while I’ve got a weight advantage on all of them, I’m taller than Roberto and right around Hagler’s height. I’d rather fight Roberto or Marvin than Hearns. Maybe I’d catch Duran on a lazy night and he’d just beat me up. Marvin would chew me up and spit me out but I think I’d be able to hit him at least (not that my best punch would do anything against that iron chin). Hearns I’d be reaching and getting countered with thunderbolts. I figure I have the least chance of maintaining dignity against the Hit Man.
Duran was all kindsa crazy. He had those black remrseless eyes. I reckon the other two would tire of hitting me, but I'd need two refs and a doctor alongside three burly men to drag Duran away. He was a legitimate animal, a man born to fight who relished the discomfort and pain he caused his opponents. And in shape at his own weight boy he had an engine. I reckon if you fought Duran you'd think you were surrounded...
That's a good reply. If you watch the Davey Moore fight Duran was grinning sadistically more than once as he beat the F out of Davey.
The one I'd fight is the one that would give me the biggest payday at the time. What the hell else is boxing about? If you are gonna get beaten up either way, may as well get the ching-ching in the wallet.
They would all slaughter me, obviously. Duran would be me choice. He looks derranged, and seemed to get off hurting people. I think it was against Dvey Moore, he catches Moore with a right hand and wobbles him. The camera pans behind Moore and you see Duran smirking. The commentator says something along the lines of "Look at Duran, hes evil".
I’d take on any of ‘em … and remember Ali’s response when Cus was taunting him, daring Ali to hit him so he could sue him for a million dollars: “Who’s gonna cash the check? Your beneficiary?”
Spot on analysis! Hearns had lethal power and freakish length and quickness to go along with it--a true intimidating force! But Hagler's chin was made out of concrete--no better example than when he fought the "Hit Man" in 85!
I'm getting slept either way so i would rather not fight Duran because that mother****er would probably see me and decide to make it slow and painful.
Duran could be a malicious *******. Arguably served him well in boxing. Savage, always up you, no thanks I’ll pass on that headache.
