wtf is special about David Haye?? david haye has accomplished **** as a heavyweight expect for being a joke. Douglas at least beat a prime tyson who was 38-0. he also holds wins over former champ Berbick and future champ Oliver McCall. Haye is a ****ing joke and always has beem....put down the pipe.
but david is a great cruiserweight....what with those 2 title fights ever

Bump. Would be an exciting fight. My money is on Buster getting the stoppage after a few scary moments.

 

I'd probably go with Buster by UD. I think Haye can get a few rounds with his style. It's just tough to pick him against a taller HW with decent power, speed and boxing ability.

 

Tokyo Douglas puts Haye and his big toe in the hospital.

 

People focus on Tyson's deficiencies when he fought Douglas, whilst ignoring how inspired Douglas was that night. Douglas leveraged his height and reach brilliantly, peppering Tyson with jabs and straight rights, whilst tying up Tyson whenever he got too close. The Douglas that fought Tyson would give Haye the same treatment and worse.

 

Similar to Wlad where you have two guys content to do the heavyweight waltz, with Douglas coming out on top.

 

Drove me to the next town Christmas Eve in the late 90's did Buster after my car broke down. Gave me 400 dollars for a Motel. He's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

 

Nothing in Haye's career points to him beating an S-tier HW boxer. On that night, Buster was "hang their jersey in the rafters good"...............Hell, I'll be honest, I'm not sure WBA HW champion Haye beats the Douglas that beat McCall or lost to Tucker.

When you actually go back and look at Buster Douglas videos, you can see he was both an underachiever and the ultimate overachiever at the same time.
