Wilder vs Chisora - Preview/Prediction VIDEO

I am just hopeful that both guys come in decent shape, and, that the fight isn't fixed. If both of those contingencies are satisfied, it should be a fun fight. But, if I were a betting man, I wouldn't count on it.

 

I love the line about Otto Wallin being "arguably borderline top 10". Rummy must've browsed some threads on this very topic.

 

Wilder has KO'd some opponents from very short range before, so he won't necessarily need to wind back and launch those shots from across the ring.

 

I think Chisora wins, because he can overwhelm him with a swarming style. That style bothers Wilder. If Wilder is gun shy, it might resemble the Parker fight, where he gets smothered.

Well, friends, I think we know that Chisora, so far as we've seen, has been the most responsive to change and the most changing man aside from Fury, in a mercurial sense. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is...go Nuggets...

 

Chisora is in the better form and Wilder doesn't appear to have much left to me, physically and mentally. Del Boy by TKO in the later part of the fight.

 

For the first couple of rounds, Chisora will be defensive wise responsible - bobbing and weaving enough - and pressure Wilder. By the 5th round, I suppose Wilder will have mentally checked out to a degree he cannot capaitalize of Del Boy getting tired between his spurts in between enough. So I foresee a more or less clear points win for the beloved brit or, lese likely but possible, a late surrender by Wilder aka TKO for him.

 

This is strangely a tough fight to pick for me, both fighters have such flaws that a very plausible scenario can be made for each fighter to win.
If,, and I mean if Chisora can land a winging overhand he'll deposit Deontay on the beer logo in the ring. If Wilder keeps him outside and jabs he could land a bomb and end it. I'd hate to bet on either one

 

Chisora i would imagine wants to get Wilder out of there early doors, as at 42yrs old carrying a career heaviest 266 pounds in the later rounds will test his engine.

The big question for me is whether Wilder is still exhibiting a big dose of being gun shy, if he is then Chisora will have a field day, however if Wilder uses his 'equaliser' of a right hand, i can see him having his "2 seconds of being perfect" and stopping Chisora.

I would like Chisora to go out on a win, but i fear if he were to beat Wilder, then he would not be hanging up the gloves.

I will nail my colours to the mast for Wilder landing that big right hand on Chisoras jaw, as sure as hell Chisora will not be hard to find.

Despite both being past their best, i am looking forward to the bout.
