Upon reflection, I genuinely don’t think I’m overreacting when I say that tonight’s ref was one of the all-time worst refereeing performances I’ve ever seen in the sport of boxing.

It’s actually a minor miracle that Wilder got the decision victory considering how blatantly stacked the deck was against him

I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking that. Chisora came in to roughhouse and didn't like it when Wilder obliged by returning the favour.

Wilder winning by SD in Chisora's backyard after losing a point... don't think that was on anyones cards.

 

The British really gotta do something about their whole boxing scene. The fans are great, but jeeeeeeeeesus is the rest of it a mess. The refs are terrible at their jobs and in a lot of cases just flat out corrupt like this judge tonight. The commentators aren't much better. Like, there's always gonna be some bias, I get that, but gawddamn British commentators can't even pretend to be objective. The BBBoC is also bent as hell.

 

I'm more dirty I missed this RDR than the actual fight. Good stuff.
