I think if Wilder had been tested in the ring as often as Chisora his record would be worse.

Pretty much everyone that beat Chisora would've beaten Wilder, other than Helenius.

Chisora was more competitive by far against Parker, and was competitive against Whyte (who Wilder would not fight).

The other thing that ought to be said...
Is Chisora had multiple losses, including KO losses and the accumulation stoppage against Fury, and continued to be competitive against almost everyone - would Wilder have been able to continue to be effective after fighting those guys and getting stopped?
Would Wilder even have seen the final bell against Vitali, Whyte, Usyk? Quite possibly not.

Chisora is a true throwback warrior - Wilder, for all his heart against Fury, is not.

 

He'd have been slept multiple times if he fought Chisora's comp. Remember, this fraud tasted canvas against tomato cans Dustin Nichols and Harold Sconiers.

Several guys Chisora fought would've starched this glass jawed joke. Hell, one of 'em did!

 

One reason why it's hard to say is that after Wilder got his ego punctured against Fury x2, he declined massively. So the first couple of losses could destroy him mentally. And Chisora stepped up very quickly, so Wilder would take a loss early.

If we ask how Wilder would do on an individual H2H sense against Chisora's opponents, he'd do a lot better. At Wilder's best, I see him beating Haye and Kabayel for instance. Maybe 40 year old Vitali too.

Also, it bears considering how Chisora would do against Wilder's opponents. In my opinion, he would have failed to become WBC champion, losing to stylistic nightmare Stiverne 1. Then he'd have lost to Ortiz, maybe twice. And he'd have lost all three to Fury, not got even one controversial draw. Against Wilder's opposition, he'd still be what he is: a rugged contender/high level journeyman.

 

He would have iced Pulev that I’m certain of.

 

They have 9 common opponents. Wilder did better in those 9 fights. While the WL record is almost the same Wilders fought better in both his wins and losses.

 

No kidding. Pulev was tailor-made for being a target for Wilder's right hand, and just never had enough power to seriously threaten Wilder. I also think Wilder would've easily beaten Parker had they fought a few years earlier, as Parker was a completely different fighter after changing his training team following his loss to Joyce. People seem to forget that Wilder, although almost completely lacking in boxing fundamentals, had tremendous speed and athleticism, which is what bailed him out in his fights against Ortiz. Landing a solid punch on him wasn't quite as easy as some of you make it seem. Post-Fury Wilder just hasn't been the same fighter at all.

Haye/Wilder would be close to call it depends who lands their right hand first.

Wilder loses to the rest IMO but he would have less losses than Chisora overall in my view.
