Up for grabs for me. Might actually be a very competitive and exciting fight.

Did the Chisora fight sway your mind on this match-up?

I haven’t watched it yet. But it probably won’t. Both Chisora and wilder are in their forties and neither have been very active.

Tucker has always been a bit overrated in my view.

People talk of Wilder having a shallow resume which he does.

But Tucker only beat 1 top 10 ranked Heavyweight in the whole decade of the 80s.

Tucker is more known for surviving against Lewis, Tyson, than his wins/performances against notable names.

Which don't get me wrong is still quite a feat to go the distance vs Lewis and Tyson. But they aren't wins though and Tucker doesn't have a whole lot of notable wins.

But saying all that Tucker is 6'5 very durable and he does have some skills.

I think Tucker could fight a passive technical fight similar to what Fury did against Wilder the 1st time and maybe eek out a decision.

Tucker has a better chin than Fury so maybe he can avoid the multiple knockdowns that Fury suffered.

But Tucker may also lose out due to Wilder being the aggressor and the bigger puncher so the judges may get swayed by that.

All in all I think its a close one to call but I could see Tucker maybe edging out a close decision.

Orlin Norris was a solid Heavyweight though.

    He beat Snipes, Page, McCall.

And a few years ago I watched his fight vs Golota and I was impressed how competitive he was vs Golota despite being past his prime.

Norris was small in dimensions for a Heavyweight but he was fast, skilled, and had a tight defence.

And whilst he had better success as a Cruiserweight his run at Heavyweight wasn't too shabby at all.

Nobody stopped Tucker when he got was near prime and he faced massive punchers so the Wilder kayo option seems doubtful.

Who did Wilder stop known for durability

    Nice Matchup man.

I will say Tucker, as he was real underrated I feel. He had better skill than Wilder and had a chin that was pretty good. Mike didn't knock him out, Lennox didnt knock him out. And he only started getting knocked out 10 years after his expiration date

Stiverne, Breazeale, Arreola, Ortiz, Duhaupas, and he put Fury on the floor multiple times.

Tucker is an infinitely better boxer but Wilder has 1 shot, the right hand lead or counter over the jab. That gives a decent shot of winning. But given Lennox and Tyson couldn't do it. I think Tucker should be a huge favourite

LOL at people picking Wilder UD hahaha

None of those guys survived huge hitters like Tyson and Lewis.

For most Wilder is the only puncher they faced

So there go the goalposts moving.

Stiverne actually did survive one of the heaviest hitters of all time: he took one of the worst beatings in heavyweight history while lasting the distance in the first Wilder fight.

    Vitali couldn’t knock Arreola out.

Ortiz hadn’t even been knocked down before fighting Wilder.

Breazeale won a FOTY type brawl against Izu.

    Duhaupas shouldn’t require explanation.

Wilder UD, probably gets a knockdown at some point too.
