A lot of good points mate. I still think for a tune up Mahkmudov was a solid choice and eclipses Jake Paul by a country mile. A lot will depend on if AJ takes a tune up and who that is, and with that Fury's fill in opponent. He's indicated he wants two more fights this year to keep active which is a great idea imo.

Fury hasn’t run and I don’t think aj has run but Hearn values aj more than he is worth. He wasn’t calling 50/50 60/40 fury after the wilder fights etc and aj losing to usyk and Ruiz he was looking 30/70 aj.

    promotors ruining boxing.

Just a pure coincidence that Fury rapidly unretires and challenges AJ once AJs in a life altering car crash.

Easy, because Wilder turned down an AJ fight to fight Fury.

Had he not done that, then AJ would had likely fought him.

While picking out the poorest fighter that anyone in Britain knows who they are and then specifically mentioning over and over how he's not fighting anyone but AJ. Absolutely no way to get him in the ring versus anyone credible not named AJ. Or Usyk, but it has to be fair! Three gypsy judges, a gypsy ref, and Usyk has to wear 16 oz. gloves! Otherwise, it just ain't fair!!!

What makes you think the Wilder fight wont happen?

And how is he getting frozen out of fighting Fury? Fury literally openly challenged him.

because hes too risky and he is the last guy fury would want to lose to. he would have rather been ko by ngannou than get ko by aj.

I get the impression neither wants to be controlled by the other

Tyson won 3 world titles against W Klitschko, but didn't rematch and retired
Joshua would likely have been a title challenger, I would think had Fury not retired.

    2018
Joshua was a unified champion holding WBO, WBA, IBF titles who had won unifications
Fury was a former champion with no defences

I read on this link that Fury wanted a 50/50 split

    https://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/story...ists-anthony-joshua-vs-tyson-fury-happen-2018

At this time Joshua was imo the bigger name at this time

    Things shift a bit.
Fury draws with Wilder in another title attempt and is now 1-0-1 in title fights
Joshua still an undefeated unified champion and 7-0-0 in world title fights

    Things shift a bit more
    Joshua loses to Ruiz
    Neither hold a world title
Joshua wins back the 3 world titles he lost
Fury beats Wilder and between them they hold all of the titles

    June 2020
    https://www.skysports.com/boxing/ne...or-a-two-fight-deal-says-promoter-eddie-hearn

It looks in the link that potentially 2 fights agreed
Covid was a factor in much of the world

    Joshua loses to Usyk
Fury ended up facing Wilder again

Now only Fury holds a world title and things have shifted a bit more where Fury would likely be able to call for the higher purse as the defending champion

Fury defends against Whyte and retires

Joshua loses the return to Usyk
Fury gives Joshua a quick call out after Joshua's second loss to Usyk, though it seemed to be a quick callout with timelines and deadlines

Fury comes back and faces Chisora and Ngannou
Loses twice to Usyk and retires again
Joshua didn't retire and lost to Dubois

I guess now neither really holds much above the other but I get the impression both want to be the A side

All of the above is pretty much how I recall it and probably not correct and certainly with gaps that I have missed

Not a coincidence, its just the way the gypsy pig operates, he ran from the wlad rematch citing mental health issues and only took on usyk when he was backed into a corner after bullcrapping through the negotiations, and waits until Joshua had that horrific accident to announce his return, this comeback won't end well and I look forward to him having his big mouth shut and his disciples slithering back under their rocks

The one coming off a near death experience. An interesting question would be why the urgency now more than ever.

I do not believe Fury dodged him at all. I can believe AJ did. AJ did not fight Wilder, He did not fight Fury.
But magically somehow, Fury and Wilder fight eachother?

It doesn't add up that fury is scared. Also, after Wilder knocked fury down and fury stood back up like it was nothing, it is clear that AJ can't do much to him as Wilder hits harder and is faster so it makes no sense why Fury would be scared
