And still Benn couldn’t come close to putting him away. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m sick of fighters going into fights knowing they are ****ed and essentially conning the customers. Yeah fair enough it’s a pay day for them but here you have a guy who was in such poor condition that he was considering jacking it in a day before the fight.

He was well paid to take the L, and knew he could make it through against a limited fighter.

Benn's strategy of facing semi-retired named fighters who are past it continues to reap rewards for him. He continues to essentially con the casual market without having to face anyone anywhere near his level physically.

Actually, this is not "confirmation". These are claims - that of course he is going to make. I do believe him but a boxer making claims about injuries is not confirmation. Very naive, mate. I think you've been drunk all night.

Regis is a pretty straight talker, so I can’t imagine him making anything up.

Fair to say he was probably getting paid close to what he got for the Haney fight as well. He’s invested his money, and with boxers a long-time retired, there was no way anyone around him was letting him walk away from that kind of purse.

He’ll also have believed he could still land something, and the fear probably came from thinking he was getting the Benn from the Covid-era run.

What the fight did prove, for me, is there can’t really be any disputing anymore that Benn was jacked up back then.

Conor will be in for a rude awakening once he steps up to genuine world class against a fit, active fighter. Shakur wouldn’t lose a second to Benn.

Although it’s possibly going to be Teo next, as he’s clearly the next one heading to Zuffa.

Shot to bits and crippled, and yet still had Benn looking bang average. Benn is a history maker, the first fighter in history to have the ability of a southern area title contender and get financially rewarded like an all-time great.

Very impressive performance by Benn against a skilled 2 x world champion that I thought was gong to be a potential banana skin for him.

I hope Eubank Jr watched that and decided to stay retired, showed how poor he is.

One thing I will give Benn credit for is that he was well conditioned, given he was coming down in weight.

The frustrating part of the production was hearing the likes of Haye keep referring to Prograis as a world class fighter. Hes a washed up 140lb’er.

Very WWE type fight card, is this what boxing is now

Come on Mitch, you’re giving him the same courtesy service as the brass I lost my virginity to – preserving the ego more than telling the truth.

You sure you’re not Adam Catterall’s alt account?

Anybody notice in the first couple of rounds Prograis balance was terrible. Comms where giving credit to one of Benns punches but I wasnt convinced.

A banana skin would probably have more chance of stopping Prograis.

Yeah I was convinced he had a leg injury even before the fight having seen some of his training stuff.

Conor Benn must be the most manufactured fighter in boxing history
