Lonely voice but I thought AJ played that just right, and I thought he came out of the exchange and interview with much more class than PT Barnum, erm, Tyson Fury. He's not jumping on the cash cow bandwagon, he's not being railroaded into a fight that can happen anytime he wants it. If anything, I thought Fury and Turki came over as a couple of no class clowns. Would have been much better to make a statement like 'Now we can see Tyson is back, there is one fight the world wants to see. We know AJ has been through a lot recently but we are ready to make this fight whenever he feels ready. We wish him all the best.' ....

I thought he looked a bit gormless tbh. If he's not ready he could have said so without losing face, instead he just came off as cringe.

 

So Fury has seemingly signed for the fight months ago....and he throws the offer into someone's face without them seeing whats on paper?? Did Fury not do this trick before when he gives folk 24 hours to sign....take the terms now or the fights off type deal?!?! Talk is cheap....contracts is where the real talk is.....so guessing until AJ sees the paperwork its all hot air from fat Fury

 

Seeing Turki bumbling around trying to get everyone in the ring was weird and came across desperate as hell. Joshua didn't follow script and fair play to him. Joshua won this round of words. When he said Fury works for him that triggered Fury. Whole thing reminded me of being a kid again and watching WWF

 

AJ didn't really achieve anything other than look awkward and cringe like he usually does when he doesn't have a script to follow.

Fury and Turkey came across as no class clowns by...challenging someone sitting front row to the next fight? How long have you watched boxing? It's pretty standard. Fury didn't do anything egregious, simply said let's give the fans this fight, do you accept?

If you're looking for classless behavior after a fight, we can go back a few years and see Joshua, immediately after getting dominated by Usyk, THROWING USYK'S BELTS OUT OF THE RING, then crying on the mic for 2 minutes.

But yes, "little ol' me, lonely voice here" is a cute intro to a lame fanboy post.

 

I did. He still looked cringe to me. Trying to act hard when his last three fights were Ngannou, Dubios (KO'd) and Jake Paul.

The world will see it as Fury making a challenge, Turki backing it with his wallet and AJ not accepting it. This act is just playing into Fury's hands. If AJ actually wanted the fight he would have gleefully accepted and dropped whatever condition he had "I want a tune up, same as you".

Instead him and Eddie will find a way to fumble the bag trying to push for "A-side".

I'm a massive boxing fan fella, and a much bigger fan of Fury than I am of AJ. I'm not sure how offering an opinion on last night means that I endorse every action AJ has ever taken, but if that is the line of logic you wish to pursue, you do you. I have always picked the best Fury to beat the best AJ, yet as they are both long past their best, this fight becomes strangely more enticing.
