Who had the better uppercut at their peaks? 86-88 Tyson or 97-2001 Lewis? Whose was more dangerous, more consistent, more effective?

Mike's right uppercut, especially when immediately following that right to the body, was hard to top. I'd have to go with Mike here.

Lennox Lewis knocked out Derek Williams in 1992 using a combination with uppercuts even then. I'm picking Lewis.

Tyson was faster and more dynamic with his uppercuts. He was a threat with either hand.

I think I go Lewis for that one punch slobberknocker uppercut power.

Tyson may have been better at integrating his uppercuts in combinations though.

I think Tyson especially since his uppercuts were devastating with either hand.

Tyson's uppercut was far more versatile and quick. Lewis did throw a mean uppercut while holding his opponent's head. He got away with that infraction a lot.

Lewis' combo of hold behind the neck and uppercut into Bolivian was unmatched.

He didn’t want to infringe on Frank Bruno, who copyrighted the rabbit punch in the UK, so had to find his own alternative foul.

I used to get annoyed when Frank Bruno rabbit punched it was like a trademark move of his.

When Douglas was putting on Tyson in the 9th round Mike had already taken a pretty good beating. Then he slipped inside and landed that uppercut.
He almost ended with that one uppercut. That was impressive punching power imo.
