Hot Take Tyson Fury outboxes George Foreman

I know it’s a H2H matchup and so everybody’s personal opinion on the subject,but honestly Im not sure any from this era beats prime Foreman .

 

Dude no one hits way harder than Foreman.

At that level when you have hard punchers, any differences in power are miniscule.

Foreman had far more punching variety than Wilder. Foreman had a better left hook than Wilder, a far better right uppercut, a better left uppercut, a better jab. He was more durable and stronger. He had an equally good right.

As far as Ali is concerned, a 32 year old Ali is faster than any version of Fury. Ali could put together 5-6 punch combos with unprecedented speed. Fury struggles to throw combinations that are more than 2-3 punches at a time.

Fury is a much bigger targer than Ali. I mean the light punching Cunningham had him down.

 

George Floorman would plant one on Furys chin and he'd never recover.

Big George winner by 8th round stoppage.

 

It's not impossible because George could be outboxed, but Fury never been hit by anyone like Big George, and don't even give me any Deontay Wilder bull****.

 

I like Fury, think he’s far better than given credit by most, extremely high ring IQ. Every shot from Foreman had power, had a telephone pole jab, was relentless, and had a much higher ring IQ than given credit. Both are insanely tough.

Fury easily beats him. People are just deluded fans of these old fighters.
Firstly Fury dwarfs him. Foreman was only 'big' in his era. He's not big in this era. To put it in perspective, Foreman would look like Hammer next to Fury.
Secondly, Fury is actually also faster despite being much bigger.
Thirdly, Fury has a better engine and chin. There is no way Fury gets KO'd by Ali or is so exhausted in a fight he gets KO'd like that if you want to excuse the chin of Foreman.
And obviously Fury is more skilled in basically every way.
It's a mismatch.

Foreman has a puncher's chance as always, but is not catching him either. He has slow hands and feet. Wilder is way faster in both ways and struggled to find Fury in the first fight. Same with Wlad. Many others too.

 

Prime George Foreman got knocked down and well beaten by Jimmy freaking Young, my guy. 213 pound Jimmy Young, btw. 5 losses and 2 draws on his record already Jimmy Young, btw.

 

I think Tyson Fury is a bad style matchup for George Foreman. Fury can comfortably keep on the move and George would struggle to get inside given Fury's speed and size advantage.

But with Fury there is always the chance he'll get careless or cocky and leave himself wide open - George would take full advantage of that window of opportunity and I don't see Tyson getting back up from a clean shot from big George

But I'd still favour Fury for a clear decision victory.

 

Fighting in an outdoor arena in sauna conditions. Fury’s flabby arse would go into cardiac arrest after 4 rounds in those sort of conditions. Like all of today’s pussies who only fight in aircon indoor arenas.

 

As compared to a real man like you, right? lol

 

Fury style wise would be a nightmare for Foreman, any version. Big George has the equaliser obviously and at some point he will test his chin but we also know Fury has excellent recovery skills, I'd favour Fury.

 

Someone with Furys size and movement will give any one problems at his best and Fury is much bigger than Big George.
Foremans sheer strength and power would make him dangerous and i'd never write him off.
