Foreman vs Moorer might be on depending on whether you believe George's story or not. But we have to admit that even though he did set up that punch he was fortunate to be able to find Moorer as his later performances would show, and he was basically losing every round in the Moorer fight probably including Round 10 as well before the KO but at the end of the day Moorer should've seen it coming.

 

I can understand the argument to some extent but still only 2 seconds...

 

Yeah it definitely seemed like Bowe just had his number considering he won every normal fight they had

Lucky he didnt get DQ'ed in his fight against Zab for his dumb uncle running into the ring. Rules dictate that it should have been an immediate DQ

 

Partially true....But still takes balls and heart to remain in the fight.

Just like the Danny Williams fight where he KO'd his opponent despite only having one arm.....Again, it's partially lucky, but also it's about having the grit and determination to remain in the fight.

 

Got to to go with Luis Santana. Became champ lying on ground. Tough club fighter who was champ for a few months.

 

Lennox was lucky when one of his punches cut Vitali as he was losing 4 rounds to 2 and was on his way to a loss.

 

There's an argument that Wardley got a bit of luck in his fight with Huni; up until he caught Huni with a peach that Huni was moving into, Wardley was being soundly outboxed. It wasn't a 'lucky punch' IMO, but Huni made a mistake at the perfect moment for that punch to have max effect, so still quite lucky IMO

 

Looking at the fact Wardley was practicing this shot with his trainer prior to the fight, no luck about it. Perfect timing.

 

Then the 'luck' of Huni being up within the 10-count but ref waving it off.

 

I don't agree.

Moorer stood infront of Foreman in the later rounds which is asking for trouble.

Before the KO happened Foreman actually stunned Moorer with a right hand. And years later Moorer admitted he was actually out on his feet before the KO punch actually landed.

 

Oh was he? Will have to rewatch that soon. If so the luck piles up a bit much with parker being taken out of the fight without really getting hit

 

Cintron was extremely lucky to get a draw against Martinez.

His acting skills got him out of a KO loss and then the judges robbed Martinez on the scorecards. He basically lost twice in that fight and walked away with a draw.
