Another robbery according to Pac fans. He lost fair and square.

For me, manny is the GOAT. SRR has a case for sure though.

No. I’d still have him behind at least SRR, Greb, Henry Armstrong, Willie Pep and several others. The number of champions they defeated is a very misleading stat when comparing across eras like we are doing here. Back then, there were 8 classes and only one champ per class. I hate when Floyd uses this argument too as justification for claiming he’s the best of all time because he defeated the most champs.

I feel like Pac is one of the biggest PED cheats in boxing history. A 5'5 Filipino who outpunches far bigger men up at 147 for no explicable reason. Look at all these characters he fought at 147 who towered over him and he's bullying them? He started out at some tiny weight. It's probably the most unnatural thing in all of boxing before Canelo came along.
For people who claim he just 'grew into the weight', no, it doesn't work like that. At 18 you are around the size you are going to be naturally.

    Oh dear.

    Couldn't lace Shakur's boots?

    Really?

And what exactly has Shakur done at this stage??

Hard to rate him above SRR, Greb and Charles etc.

Floyd never fought a prime ATG.

You could only make a case based on his ability.

But even still, he wasn't tested in the way that the greats of the past were.

It's highly unlikely that he'd have retired undefeated in a stronger era.

Most of those came towards the end of his career & fighters back then fought a lot more frequently therefore under performances & losses were far more common.. if Pac was fighting once a month in an era of 8 divisions (which meant a less diluted talent pool per division) against opponents with 6oz gloves on he'd lose more too.. the 0 has only recently been turned into a thing by the Floyd fan girls. SRR would murder tiny Floyd who groped a ran like a little ***** in the Pac fight...

I personally don't care what Max has to say. It's not even a consensus that Manny is the greatest fighter from his own era so how can he be the GOAT? Most rankings I've seen place Floyd higher all time.
