Who are the greatest combination punchers post 2000? regardless of weight class. Obviously we know in an all time sense, we will have SRR, Louis, Ali, Tyson, Leonard, etc. but in a more modern context, who would you say you rank highly? anyone whose career peaked post 2000. I know Pac is the first dude who comes to mind. Such lightning quick hands and real power in both hands. Who else?

Canelo throws some really, really nice combinations. He fights in spurts but when he unleashes, he's great in combination punching. My favourite who hasn't been mentioned is Barrera in this time period. At heavyweight, Povetkin is one of the few real heavyweight combinations men in modern times, though not a "great". Choc and JMM have been mentioned as they should be. I don't know how I feel about some great fighters in this time period who threw a lot but were more "flurry" punchers than what I think of as the real great skill, of crisp, deliberate, accurate shots put together from both hands. Hasegawa maybe deserved mentioning for this. That is genuinely difficult masterclass work and most fighters just can't throw great combos consistently. Like, Vitali was a high volume puncher, so it's not like he wasn't throwing combinations, but they're very adapted, arm-punches. Calzaghe, with the slaps, but very fast, coordinated, two-handed, creative slaps, mixed in with some good, hard shots. It's just not quite what I call great combination punching.
